The complexity of work patterns and the crises that have occurred since 2009 (economic crisis, pandemic, and war in Ukraine), coupled with the widespread adoption of remote work, have prompted a reconsideration of office spaces. In fact, we are witnessing the emergence of networks of physical nodes (home, main workplaces, occasional workplaces located in different areas) and virtual nodes that allow for information sharing and access to services and products from any location at any time of the day.
Recent surveys also highlight that:
